Inspired by the discography, lyrics and persona of singer-songwriter Neil Diamond, Peter Eramian presents a series of sculptures and a commissioned short story by Oswaldo Hadjilyra. The works continue Peter's inquiry into the compacting, condensing and compounding properties of concrete, the second most consumed material in the world after water. Via play, Peter opens up a discourse that compacts, condenses and compounds notions and representations of nature and human activity, agency and grace. The exhibition is informed by Peter's research and practice during the 10 month Home Workspace Program at Ashkal Alwan, which he completed in 2018.
